The Jewish Singles DMM was created in December 2005 for Jewish Singles
in San Diego to meet socially each month at a "Dinner-Mate Mixer".
In the last 12 months since our first event, the "DMM" has come to mean
many things to all of us ... It is a social "mingler" cocktail hour initially followed
by a "Dinner-Mate" Mixer at different restaurants... hence the name. In the later part
of 2006, the DMM developed into a cocktail-styled event and incorporated dancing
get-togethers in addition to parties and other activities.
To date, our DMM venues include:
Sammy's ( 4 times), El Torito's, Scalini's ( four times), The (Chinese) Palace
in La Jolla, The Greek Palace, Cozymel's, Clay's La Jolla, the Belly Up for two
Salsa dance-class events and group tickets to the Idan Raichal Israeli Concert.
DMM provides an opportunity for attracting Jewish Singles of all ages into a warm
social arena to socially engage, share memorable moments in each other's company
and potentially "connect" with someone special!
The DMM continues to evolve ... growing from the original
"Dinner-Mate" Mixer into a more "dynamic" social forum encompassing
cocktail minglers, dinner and dancing events, private-sponsored parties
and no-host socializers. A successful "Lunch 'n Learn" financial workshop will
be repeated during 2007 in addition to other unique events on the drawing board.
Our events and venues that have emerged over time have expanded from
the original social DMM mixer into a dynamic social arena. Now, the
Jewish Singles "DMM" mnemonic simply embraces all mutual activities
and benefits as well as our connectivity to each other.
DMM continues to initiate Jewish Single-sponsored social opportunities
reflective of camp-site gettogethers, temple socials, as well as jewish holidays with
family and friends over the Jewish holidays. Those functions are etched within all
our memories ... and the DMM will hopefully rekindle those events in today's
social arena for our individual needs and mutual benefits.
Achieving this goal requires only one obligation:
Encourage friends to join and embrace each event
with your advanced confirmation and participation.

expectation of "magical happenings (!)" ... and who recognize that these
